Words can be powerful , they can be tools to build and tools to divide and destroy.
With words you can heal or hurt , you can lift up or put down.
There are over 7000 languages in the world , so imagine the sheer number of words and phrases in our disposal on daily basis.
So, that in mind, how is it, that too often , we choose the words to insult and diminish ?
Surely there is already enough darkness and wars and despair in this world , do we really need to cultivate it more by turning the words we use to weapons ..
Could we just take a little breath, think a second longer , before we say what we are about to say?
I know that every single one of us has said something at some point of the life, what we regret and wish that we had not said it.
But because we cannot take them back, we can not undo it, we should pay more attention what to say , how to say it or should one just practise the art of silence sometimes?
There are so many beautiful things on this world too , and so many beautiful words and phrases to choose from ..to nurture, to cherish and appreciate .
I have put just a tiny list here to embrace and marvel the magic of words ..hope you enjoy them 🙏❤️
